canvas is a copy of the original faux fresco that I created in 2002 as an homage to Michaelangelo’s Sistine Chapel image. My fresco was first displayed at The Pittsburgh Junior League Show House; soon afterwards, it was captured by our official photographer, Michael Robinson, who rendered it onto a 4x5 transparency, which was then scanned and printed by Mark at Alpha Screen Graphics, Pittsburgh. The original canvas is 30x40," and has a companion Eve,
which can be seen at JenniferRempel.com. We have decorated each canvas with unique cornucopian frames of dried flowers, herbs, and mosses, which will brown with age.
Here's a photo album of decorative panels commissioned by a wonderful couple from the West Coast for their new condo, now being decorative-painted by us in the classic Carlyle building downtown. Best part of the story? The couple not only fell in love with Pittsburgh, they are now faithful members of Steeler Nation.
